The dogs bark but the caravan goes on

Oh my goodness me! This post is not something that I desired to write a couple of days before!

But no problem, if I am writing it I am writing it!

Before starting, I render my extreme apology to Allah being so ordinary in self before His judgment and I assure you my Lord that anything I will write is not an index of pride rather putting a case about myself!

Actually it was triggered when I received suspicious comments over my articles that were not addressing the article’s topic rather intended to attack personally to create an impression that was not based on reality.

He / She might be my University Class mate as per the text observed, regardless of a stupid try to prove his / her identity as my senior in batch. His / Her case was that I was nothing, neither am I anything today so; I would have to close BIZOMER!

By the way BIZOMER is the blog that carries about 150 articles that has been in readership of the readers of more than 40 countries in the world. Many of the articles are acclaimed appreciation over different academic and research platforms due to their conceptual and practical framework.

But the person who tried never knew that each comment over this portal needs my approval. Over many posts there has been a sheer criticism that got approval because I always welcome difference of opinion and constructive criticism.

The person came to know the fact of approval of comments very lately and got frustrated to say that you made it restricted. So gentleman or madam; It is my blog and by the grace of Allah I am capable to run it over my pocket without being over any free blog format. So excuse me I never allow anyone to spin over my wall.

Now folks! Even I forgot it as I am in hardcore professional challenges and life but I would like to go back in my university life.

I joined a Master of Commerce program in the University of Karachi in 2004. I ended up with the gold medal and 18 As out of 20 advance courses.

It looked phenomenal but it was never a mere degree that didn’t match with what I did.

I was the only student who had courage to take strong position against the lecturers or professors if it didn’t match with the reality that I found. And not few but many times I made my point clicked.

Even there were some teachers who didn’t ever like me but they were even not capable to cut my marks because it was the benchmark that people see the tone of the results through what I got.

And even it was not about performing great in examinations, presentations, assignments etc. when the team of University of Karachi visited International Management Precipice 2005 in Bangalore I got second position in Best Manager category and deeply appreciated by the scholars and executives who judged the competition.

On the other hand the person who stood second in M.Com examination in my batch was even not able to draw a basic impact. It was the clear recognition at international level where more than 7 countries were participating with their 50 plus students.

I participated in PakGulf Economist’s Inter University Article Contest over SMEs and my article over SMEs was declared as the best article beating the articles of IBA and LUMS students.

I wrote a report in my research project over Stock Market under the supervision of a well known professor of the department Dr. Tahir Ali in 2004. The conclusion of the report was indicating a massive downturn in the market in a year time. And in 2005 it was there in reality.

Dr. Tahir Ali and all esteemed visiting faculty considered me as the best of students that they have seen!!!

Other than this there were many academic achievements that I enjoyed in my University life and I can say with a sheer certainty that I am still the best that Department of Commerce University of Karachi have ever produced.

And it is not stop as on my career to date but my ambition to grow to the level of being acclaimed as the world class is still working and I am sure that with the help of Almighty I shall go for it.

After University my professional life has been so brisk even equally uncertain as of my nature to take risks but I have no hesitation to say that if I count my airfares from Dubai to Karachi and Karachi to Dubai from 2007 – 2009 the total amount comes must be so higher than the average monthly income that my batch mates have earned as on date.

I with my partner started two companies in UAE in 2007-08. Yes in the beginning it was the company with two directors without employees in a Free Zone but to start that company we had US$ 40,000 in our pocket. The second company we formed after two months of the first company’s launch cost us US$ 35,000 with a security deposit to the government of Ajman i.e. US$ 95,000.

I was indeed a 50% partner in both. So folks being a year spent University graduate I had had enough money to start our business journey. And I was not the son a rich father; I did it at my own with the sheer help of Allah.

Even while forming the company my old employer tried his best to stop us with his effort of filing a case against me and my partner. He threatened us with his claims that he will put a case of fraud that we are taking his clients to our company but we stood firm in legal battle and won.

Then it comes to the best of times where we were growing great guns in Ajman Property and Investment scene. We finally reached 14 employees being a company in service sector with the number of clients more than 100. The gross revenues of the company were AED 1.9 mln in 2008.  Even in 2009 we saw massive financial crises in Dubai and I went back to Pakistan for a year time.

I again came back to UAE with an ambition to rebuild my plans of accumulating capital to start a business base in Pakistan and I am up to my way to date.

In a while I taught advance level courses in the top business schools in Karachi and my student base is another witness of the way I taught them. Yes there are few who didn’t absorb the practical approach of teaching but I never responded by doing something below the mark in academia for attaining popularity.

As on date; in many local and global papers and reports researchers referred my articles. And they can be seen by merely by searching on google by writing Saqib Omer Saeed, BIZOMER or www.bizomer.com.

I cannot say that I never have failures in my attempts for getting the glory but never at a failure had I stopped. I always go on! Even if I take average of last 6 years it is really a super success myth in many regards.

I don’t bother what people say about me because I can respond. I have never surrendered even in the hardest of time. In the little journey of profession I have seen a time when I used to have all luxuries of life and I have even seen the time when I had nothing in my pocket to eat.

But I marched over the ways of my dream and I will always do! I never need appreciation or certification from people because what I really want are the tangible performances that can be seen.

Today I again get back to my track of progress after a sheer dedication and clarity of purpose. I was the one who faced the impact of financial crises in the world more than any one out of those who studied with me in University. It is merely because it was me who was in the position to do business that was connected globally.

And if today any stupid or idiot will raise a finger over my progress so I know how to respond. I can’t say that what my endeavors will result finally but what I believe is; performing at my best and proving those people right who put confidence over my abilities and efforts.

The rest I don’t care. My message for few jealous idiots is simple; “The dogs bark but the caravan goes on”. I enjoy your frustration and respond your issues seriously.
