Money is not a new word for me and I believe the same in your regard. Neither anyone of us is unaware of the facts connected to money. Yes “Money” is also a part of my research so I have a little grip over money’s functionality and its role in giving life to economy and financial system.

Today I just want to present money is some lightest symbolic perspective but even serious to understand the lesson that is worth understanding.

Let us try to see what Spike Milligan talked about money. He said that Money couldn't buy friends, but you got a better class of enemy. Yes I can understand. We sometimes think it that we can not have good relationships by spending money but certainly we can have bad one when money is involved. But again subjective to our own inner and totality of social behaviors that can even worst when we live poor as a society.

The instances from personal to national life are full of money’s role in undesirable events. Corporate fraud of Satayam Computers in India to Default Swaps that FED ignored in U.S.A. was in the desire of making quick money. Money certainly has been helping in making class enemies to people and nations within and outside. But again it is subjective to our exposure and control of ethical norms.

Milligan once said that “All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy”. But I also read one saying that Money can't buy happiness; it can, however, rent it. I know people feel proud while saying that money is not important but on the other side their whole life has been traveling in the chase of it. They better state it once they fall down in the race. I think we have to be just enough. Money is not everything but it is something that we have to plan in way that we shall have it when we need it but equally our class & caliber has to be independent of money.

Money can not foster your children. It doesn’t mean that a poor can foster his children better than a rich all the times. But it is really critical that you make your children realize that money is the most unfaithful things in the world. So they have to grow up on their skills and knowledge rather than dependence of money. J. Paul Getty said that money isn't everything but it sure keeps you in touch with your children. Sometime social realities have to be taken in account with ethical lessons.

I don’t know why our society is so hypocritical. We even want to be rich but we always draft lessons that money is nothing. Why don’t we say that yes we will work to have money [by fair means] but we are more concerned to utilize it for the welfare of our family and society?

Poverty is not the best of attributes. Everyone have to be with the motivation of earning money but equally with an inspiration of not becoming a tool of money rather to use it for the wellbeing of people. Oscar Wilde said that anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination. So living within the means is not an intelligent call. We always have to work for enhancing our means. It is the objective that can make it a sacred job. So have decent objective and reject living poor or in limited means.

If you read the biographies of the richest people across the globe so you can find that they struggled hard in their childhood. Katharine Whitethorn said that the easiest way for your children to learn about money is for you not to have any. It simply suggests that if being a parent you don’t have resources of quality so you don’t have to convince your children that having resources is not necessary. You just need to use your circumstances as a training material for your children. If you have resources so you have to train your children independent of these resources by making them aware that life is a sizzling reality that is always volatile. Once they are trained for the tasks of life so they can better use that money for the wellbeing of their life & others.

In the holy month of Ramadan you keep fasts, it doesn’t mean that you can leave eating and drinking forever [other than Ramadan] to please God. God also needs you to be fit for the tasks that He has assigned. He only wants you to know the meaning of hunger in specific time. It is not hunger or thirst that is the key but the objective in true sense.

Oscar Wilde said that another good thing about being poor is that when you are seventy your children will not have you declared legally insane in order to gain control of your estate. It is actually not a fault of money but scarcity of social values. In our society if we work our ethical practices we can work the best of being resourceful.

The bottom line is simple that money is not the target of life but it is highly useful to accomplish value target for society. We can not live in misperception that money bring character imbalance. It is only a case when we make ourselves a tool of money. If we have strong character and enough substance in objectives so money is the best of resource for good deeds.

While living in a third world country we have to change our perceptions about money. If we don’t have it so we never need to preach that having it is bad. Yes those who have it they can use it for the well being of society. On the other hand using it for unethical demands have to be taken high handedly for reinforcement.

We need to persuade our children or youth to involve in activities that can generate money so they can utilize it for the welfare of society. This approach can be beneficial for economic growth of our country. This can even mobilize the cause of politically influential Pakistan across the globe. The lesson of patience never means; living happy in limited means. It is always there in endeavors of having sound means but controlling all unnecessary desires to pursue objectives of wellbeing and enlightenment of society.
